Position: Business Development Manager

The position advertised is for a Business Development Manager in India.

Tata Interactive Systems is one of the largest and most experienced custom e-learning development companies in the world, with operations in the USA, UK, Australia, Japan and Middle East.

Location: The position would be based out of India. Reporting directly to Head – India Sales.

Essential Requirements:

  • MBA/ business degree from the Tier I and Tier II colleges in India
  • Must have proven track record in selling e learning/IT solutions/Institutional selling/FMCG
  • Must have 4-7 years of relevant experience (4 – 5 years of sales experience)
  • Should be well networked and have interacted / dealt successfully with e-learning Heads/ Chief Information officers/ Senior managers of large companies.
  • Should be well experienced in the commercials and contract negotiations
  • Should have through understanding and appreciation of training/ E learning business.
  • Excellent sales and people skills; effective blend of tact and tenacity
  • Creative thinking (out-of-the-box thinking)
  • Should be able to do cold - calling
  • Ability to understand client needs and conceptualize appropriate solutions
  • Ability to reach CXO level of potential customers
  • Ability to get big ticket orders
  • Ability to conceptualize new product line as per the industry requirement
  • Skilled at identifying decision makers and building executive relationships
  • Should be able to engage successfully in the entire sales cycle from prospecting to sales closure
  • Should have good communication ability in English.
  • Willingness to relocate to the international geographies if required
